Feature Requests/Announcements / Update 05/12/2013
« Last post by shmax on May 12, 2013, 05:30:23 PM »Big check-in today:
- ability to link products to more than one toyline (so we can have "Transformers > Star Wars > Basic" and "Star Wars > Transformers > Basic" on the same toy). This entailed touching almost every part of the codebase, which means there will be bugs. nasty ones. Please report them for squashing immediately as you find them.
- Loosened validation rules for part/product names (so now pretty much any special characters are allowed--up to mods to keep it under control from now on)
- tinkered with the layout of product and part details pages
- fixed collection download
And other stuff I can't remember.

« Last post by Phantom Dusclops on May 11, 2013, 01:21:29 PM »I was more interested in the mechanics of the toy--do the arms bolt-on after transformation? Are they indeed cassettes, or are they the battieries, or something weird like that?
Brief description:
The piledrivers are usually slotted as a single battery thingy. It can be attached to the side of Soundwave in tapedeck mode using the sensor piece as a plug, on Soundwave's arms in robot mode as cannons (kinda like Prime Bumblebee's ones) or on Frenzy/Rumble's back as jetpacks. They also store their shoulder guns. But they can be detached and slotted over their arms (after rotating them horizontaly with exposed shoulder balljoints and with the elbows bent upwards) to do the piledrivers.

Help Us Build the Database / Re: Skywarp value on wrong product
« Last post by shmax on May 08, 2013, 11:33:03 PM »I think that's just some residual ebay data--I recomputed the values for both items, and they're now both back to boring 'ol zero. I'll see if I have a button for recomputing them all, or something. Thanks, Trip.

Help Us Build the Database / Skywarp value on wrong product
« Last post by Tripredacus on May 07, 2013, 03:35:41 PM »The appraisal data for G1 pre-rub Skywarp appears to be falsely attached to the no-gray border version instead.
Pre-Rub (no gray border) 0 collected, has values

Not only is he a modern interpretation of one of our favorite Triple Changers (and does it well, I mean...look at those alt modes), he also manages to homage Animated Blitzwing with his ability to change his faces to reflect his apparent multiple personalities.
It's nice to see that the Triple Changers are getting some love lately. His casemate, Springer has been equally well-received, and a Sandstorm figure is also planned...can Broadside be far behind? One can only hope. :)

Help Us Build the Database / Re: Assigning mold #s - user submissions
« Last post by Antron007 on May 03, 2013, 08:10:27 PM »I'm sorry I haven't been very active lately. I've been very busy. I'm pretty up to date as far as getting what's available in my area. It seems like almost a month since I've seen a toy I want that I haven't already bought. There's a couple I hope to stumble upon but I really just need these newer waves to come my way.
I still pop in to check the site and forum
And it seems that anytime I find something I think the DB may need, it ends up being there already. 'Submitted by Engledogg'

I know I am the Shadow Ninja Mod here, the one rarely seen and when he strikes he creates 300+ records/parts within 2-3 hours.
