i have a bunch of 3rd party stuff, that i can take pics for the gallery of, problem being that i have applied autobot and decepticon logos to a lot of them (not all) the ones with labels applied i can't take photos of for the site, correct?

Take pictures of them. When submitting the picture you can just add the caption stating you applied custom reprolabel stickers. When someone else submits a picture of the "unaltered" product we can still use your picture as part of the gallery.

What he said. You know, I notice that even if we ignore the 3rd party stuff, you still have quite a bit to keep you busy. In G1 alone, we get 80 photo hits for your collection:

yeah, sealed g1, i don't have, i just haven't gotten that far in editing my collection to changing them to loose, 3rd party wise, most of the stuff comes in a box, and i keep the boxes for them, ok, i'll try to do some of my stuff

Hey bug report again.... Just noticed that one of the things needed:

Photo of 4WD Type in its Futuristic/Fictional jeep form

However, if you click the link for 4WD Type:
http://www.shmax.com/part_details/1813

It already has a picture. I see that is a BBTS picture (and maybe not quite to photo standards) but maybe a reason why could be stated. For example, maybe it should say "we need a better picture" instead?

I'll forget it says the picture was uploaded in 1969...
But for a usability stance, the "zoom" you get when you click on the picture has no instructions on how to exit the zoom. Last time I opened a pic like that, there was a clear "X" in the corner I knew to close it. And yes, I know I can "close" is by clicking someplace else.

Hey bug report again....

It's not a bug, it's intentional.  Anything with no photo OR with a BBTS or Hasbro stock photo will show up as needing a replacement photo.

True, but I do kind of like Trip's idea about showing a different string ("A better picture of...") for the BBTS/Hasbro/donor pictures.

Spaceharfang, can you please take a crack at this? This will require some of your advanced database magic. If the member record corresponding to the "photo_submitter" field of a photo record has a "user_photo_donor" value of 1, then the photo comes from Hasbro, BBTS, etc...
