I was going to fill in some "Technical Data" for Clear Convoy using this card:

But I can't quite make out the names of the ratings. I can't read kanji, and the furigana helpers are too small for me to make out, even at full resolution. Can any of you help me fill in the blanks?

Here's what I have so far:

  • Power: 10
  • ?
  • Speed: 10
  • ?
  • ?
  • ?
  • ?
  • Technique: 10

Thanks, those weren't too far off. I just got off IM with a real live native Japanese speaker, and we came up with:

??? power
?? intelligence
???? speed
??? stamina
??  rank
?? courage
?? firepower
????? technique

I'd like to work the original kanji in there somehow--maybe I can figure out a way to use the translation bbcode we have for tech bios. Hmm...

You'll run into problems with some users not being able to see the characters. Maybe you can have pictures instead of text show up?

I believe virtually all modern computers and browsers come equipped with the fonts and unicode support necessary to display Chinese characters. The ones that can't can simply view the English version.

No, it means you're probably still using windows XP. From Windows Vista onward, you don't have to worry about it. Vista is already 5 years old, hence my comment concerning "modern computers and browsers".

I've been using Windows 7 for over a year now, but it was always a habit to install additional languages. So I had done that on my PCs right after install and didn't know I didn't have to do it anymore.
