I thought I'd start a thread saying about what our latest hauls were, it will be interesting to see what people have got.

Yesterday I got hold of ROTF Deluxe Autobot Wheelie from my local Asda for £9.97 (most stores sell them for £12.99-£15)
Today on eBay I bought Armada Terrorsaur and Armada Powerlinx Red Alert, and because I'd been a repeat buyer, the seller also bundled in a Micron that becomes a gun apparently, which was nice!

By the way, what kind of light tent did you order? I've been thinking about getting one myself, but have yet to find one that really seems perfect (and costs less than $1000)...
Picked up a cheap one from eBay, cost me £15 including shipping....it's an 80cm pop-up one with coloured backgrounds too (although doubt I will be using them much), also bought 2 desk lamps with halogen bulbs too, just waiting for the light tent to arrive and then I start taking snaps!
Never realised they could cost in the region of $1,000! Man, that's way out of my price range! I will probably have to get a new camera soon too, but I have a few laying about and I will give them a go and see.
Latest addition is ROTF Voyager Demolishor...usually they sell voyager class models for £22.99 but it is Easter so they have a "sale" and they were £14.99 each, but as I bought a new camera today I got a £10 voucher, so it cost me a stonking £4.99!
Now I have my light tent, a nice new 12 MP camera, so it I need to take some pics soon....

True, you guys have the low-wattage mandate, but from what I understand some of the new eco-bulbs are "equivalent" to their high-wattage cousins. I'm from Sydney in Australia and picked up the ROTF Leader-class Buster Prime / Brown Coloured Jetfire 2-pack. Not sure about it's availability outside of Australasia, I remember seeing it on a recent trip to Hong Kong close to 6 months ago and wanting to pick it up but it was no way fitting in my already packed suitcase... it's a K-Mart exclusive here, along with a few of the human alliance figures, so good to see it finally ended up travelling down here.
Gotta love the premium silver paint apps and a bit of chrome on good ole Prime :)

Yeah, they were waaaaay crunched. The only one that was really smushed though was Sideswipe, and that's just the box. Brawl and Blazemaster were OK.

By the way, nice work on the recent submissions. I have this strange feeling like we're soon going to have more Ratchets documented than Optimii.
I actually think I've worked my way through all of the ones that were missing photos. Now I'm going through, looking for ones with stock photos that need to be replaced. Oh yeah, and that weird Asian Happy Meal Ratchet I have.
I've flagged about 400 more photos for replacement (they were submitted during our first contest before any of us knew what we were doing, and are, well, a bit dated, shall we say). Take another look at your list, there may be a few new surprises...
Nope, still just 3 items I can photograph, which is actually 1 item because poor Legends Red Alert is all stickered up. But like I said, there are some photos I think I can improve on - I'm pretty sure Movie Voyager Rescue Ratchet has Hasbro stock photos, and some of the Animated ones have shadows in the corners of their pictures (deluxe Jazz, for example.) And I was cleaning my room and found some of the opened boxes - I can at least photograph the backs.
Sure, sure, improve away! Any stock/BBTS photos would have already appeared in your list, so you shouldn't find any by manually hunting around, but there are definitely plenty of non-stock photos littered throughout the database that could use improvin'. And the box backs are always welcome. If you keep the boxes, you should tag those collection items as "opened" instead of "loose", and then the package backs should appear in your HYCH list.

I don't usually keep the boxes...I've just been really busy and because the garbage only gets taken out every 2 weeks, if the garbage dude feels like it, (I'm not joking, I live in a VERY rural area) I have to spread out my TF debris if I don't want it to fill a garbage can. I really wish Hasbro would look into recyclable packaging. The paper strings replacing the twist ties are a good start though.

I just got an unexpected refund from the doc's office...so what do I do? Am I responsible and use it to pay off some bills?

Is the Patrol Barricade in the Barricade vs. Bumblebee package different from the single-packed highway patrol Barricade?
Yep, the one in the 2-pack is blue and black.
To collect all of these things, keeping every freakin' variant straight in my head, is going to be quite the adventure.
ADDENDUM: I must be psychic.
There appear to be variants to at least one (maybe two) of these as well. Checking out the news article over on TFW2005, http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys--products-30/speed-stars-wave-1-two-packs-out-at-us-retail-170471/ when these were first spotted, it seems you can get two different versions of Optimus Prime in two of the sets, making a total of 4 package variants.
I bought the Optimus Prime (OP) vs. Desert Long Haul (DLH) pack, but the Prime in it has a silver nose and an almost totally red cab, like the one pictured here at BBTS:

Looking at the back of Optimus Prime vs. Bonecrusher's package...it seems that the Prime I described above should be found in the OP vs Bonecrusher set, not the OP vs. DLH pack.
So, I guess it would be possible to have both versions of Prime ("normal looking" and "silver node, red cab") show up in both the OP vs. BC and the OP vs DLH sets.

I just found the two-pack at my local TRU - yikes on all the variants! I've been trying to find the search-and-rescue symbol on doors variant of Ratchet ever since I learned about it, but no dice so far. SOS... I would love to, but things got super crazy here the last few days. I'm really impressed with the quality of these guys and they look amazing displayed with the Hasbro G1-styled MP Screamer and Skywarp. (C'mon Has... where's the G1 styled Thundercracker?? :cry:)
