Title: Artist Proofs? Do they get their own listing?
Post by: Trailbreaker77 on November 05, 2012, 05:47:51 AM
Hi,

I have about 10 AP Statues from the Palisades line I'm not sure how I should go about getting these new listings. (If needed)?

Thanks

Aren't 'Artist Proof' versions like prototypes? If that is so, we don't really cover those in the database separately.

No typically prototypes are unpainted, usually the AP's are use for promotion/solicitations pieces. At least that is what I've been told.

In the past, we've had this type of topic come up and it is always decided that we only have mass-produced, or specifically limited items in the database. Things like errors, protos or "cross-sell protos" (like what you have there) are not listed here. As an example, I have a cross-sell proto for Universe Rollbar, but I don't have it added into my collection as either a prototype or as the regular figure.
