Help Us Build the Database / Re: UK Exclusive DotM Megatron Blu Ray
January 04, 2012, 02:14:03 AMQuote from: "engledogg"
Sure.It contains 2 discs, 1 is a Blu-Ray version of the film (no extras) and the other is a DVD/Digital Copy of the film (no extras). That's all that is in there.

What are the contents, exactly? The case (obviously), but what discs are in it? I see it is called "Triple Play"...does that imply something?

Help Us Build the Database / UK Exclusive DotM Megatron Blu Ray

HMV in the UK have released an exclusive version of the DotM Blu Ray with a Transforming Megatron Case. You can see the details here:
HMV Exclusive Megatron
I have one and it looks like the same base as the American released DVD version but it a metallic silver paint instead of a dull grey.
Is it possible to have this added to the database?

Help Us Build the Database / Re: Transformers Stealth Force Mini Changers - UK

From what I've seen. All of the Stealth Force mini-changers have been released and from regular stealth force High Wire, Knock Out, Barricade, Bumblebee (both versions), Big Hoss, Starscream and Optimus Prime.
We haven't had any of the speed stars cars for DotM released in the UK at all.

The Mini Changers have been released in the UK for some time now in large numbers and I only picked them up in a half price toy sale. The big stealth force Bumblebee is also available in the UK definitely through the Argos chain of stores (not sure about anywhere else) http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3884216/Trail/searchtext%3EBUMBLEBEE.htm
Thanks for making the changes. It looks like all of these figures have been dumped on UK shelves instead of the US!

Is it possible to copy the information for all of the Stealth Force Mini Changers to the UK with exactly the same details. They have all been released here for about 2 months and I have finally picked them up.
Also the exclusive Optimus Prime Matrix Kreon has been released in the UK as a freebie with Dr. Who Magazine http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/free-matrix-optimus-prime-kreon-with-uks-dr-who-adventures-comic/23067/. Is it possible for a category for this to be added to the site?

The comics are dual sided multi lingual. Like the Armada/Eneregon booklets of old. 1 side has 3 languages and the other side has 3 languages and is upside down.

I think I've added all the packages. The instructions are multilingual as well as I am an open box collector.

Yes the packages are different. They are multilingual but still contain the exact same contents as the US issues.

The Target exclusive deluxes (Space Case, Arcee, Jazz and Bumblebee) and cyberverse 2 packs (Megatron/Bumblebee and Ledfoot/Ironhide) have all been released in the UK as Tesco's exclusives. Is it possible to copy the items from the US categories to the UK?

Help Us Build the Database / UK Daily Mirror Exclusive RPM's
July 02, 2011, 09:49:17 AM
The UK newspaper the daily mirror is giving away a different exclusive speedstars figure. The figures have to be collected from the Sainsbury's store chain with a redeemable token from the newspaper. I'm not sure where these figures should be included in the database.
The figures that will be released are:
Cyberhunt Optimus 2nd July
Bumblebee 3rd July
Starscream 4th July
Ironhide 5th July
Soundwave 6th July
I have the Cyberhunt Optimus and can confirm it is very similiar to the carded US version but is released in a bag. Can anyone help with the placement of these items in the database please?

Help Us Build the Database / [RESOLVED] New European Category

In the UK both dotm Walmart repaint figures Bumblebee and Sideswipe have been released as Sainsbury's exclusives in the UK. Is it possible to add a new category to the European section for these?
Also since the items are identical to the Walmart releases (with the exception of European packaging and an exclusive to Sainsbury's sticker) copy the information from the US listings for these figures?

Help Us Build the Database / European vs USA figures
May 26, 2010, 03:07:29 AM
This might come off as a bit of a rant but thats not the way it is intended.
It is kind of annoying to see all of these European figures being added to the database when the European figures are essentially no different to the US release of the figures. This dilutes the database as the packaging is exactly the same as the US version (with the minor exception of multi-lingual descriptions) the figure and contents are no different. I doubt that collectors buy both the European and US versions of figures just to say I own both types of packaging. If the figure is released under a different name or completely different packaging then that is acceptable. If a figure was released in Australia for example it would not be added to the database as an Australian item as well.
I am in the UK and collect figures from all around the world and I just don't feel that the 'European' duplicates should be allowed to be on the database. Surely the easiest option is just to select the US figure and put what you paid for it in £GBP.
This is just my two pennies worth on the subject.

Bugs? On www.shmax.com? Ha ha, you kill me... / [RESOLVED] Price of item bug
May 26, 2010, 02:20:35 AM
The price history for the recently released Star Sabre Model Kit which I own is currently showing at over $200. Since the kit is available for only $5 on eBay I think it is sourcing its price history from the original Star Sabre mould.
