I haven't seen Dropkick, but I can confirm he hasn't much competition.
I'm yet to see any movie design that I like.

Shmax... forget Animated (Animated fans take note, I say this for a reason) - you need to feast your eyes on Beast Wars. It's a fantastic slice of sci-fi in its own right, once you get past the initial episodes setting up the characters.
I promise you when the main story kicks in it'll make you go all goosebumpy.
Watch Animated after Beasties and you'll get far more out of the show.

General Transformers Discussion / Re: Has anyone seen *ahem* "Springer"?

Update time:
Some nice prototype test shots here, including one in robot mode.

Looks like he'll be sporting some die-cast, as if to prove his manliness (not that he has to, mind).
There's also what looks like a Bruticus from them here http://www.fansproject.com/?p=384 - appendage 'Cons to snap onto Classics/Universe Onslaught, perhaps?
I think that's double-yum!

To be fair, I deserve no thanks; I'm with the critics on this one.

Hmmm... I dunno...
D'ya think it's newsworthy?
I certainly didn't know about it until today when I went there to admire the Rodimus upgrade. Might be worth bringing it to folks' attention? It's sure tickled my collecting fancy.

I'm sure this is the last we'll see of this mold! I mean c'mon, they wouldn't push it on us again, would they?"Repaint when the target demographic isn't looking."
Never underestimate the £$£$£$ attraction of rinsing out another variant of a mold, huh?

Springer, who loves to go by the designation TFX-Defender these days, is looking rather handsome.
