They should, yes. I've poked at that issue a few times and wasn't able to come up with a quick fix, but I'll try again. Thanks much.

is it possible that some products are listed under multiple countries and therefore count as more than 1?

That's likely it.  I'm betting the European items are partly responsible.

As something like http://shmax.com/product_details/3281/aquablast will show up as Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

Yes, that's exactly what it is, but the query is quite complex and so far I haven't figured out where to put the grouping clause.

The grand totals are the same, but if someone would add up the individual regions/countries, they would see that the sum of the regions/countries don't match the total you put up there.

No, they won't sum up, and they can't sum up if you don't want to consider repeats.
