Figured it out...there's something about those specific parts. I can upload a photo no problem to any other part in the database with no issue, but I can't with these.
So...doing some digging, when you look at any of the figures in this record:
http://www.shmax.com/product_details/21391/retro_3_packexcept for Duck Hunt (as it already has good photos) and R.O.B. (which I'll explain later) :
http://www.shmax.com/part_details/45610/mr_game_watch_bellhttp://www.shmax.com/part_details/45608/mr_game_watch_parachutehttp://www.shmax.com/part_details/45607/mr_game_watch_standingyou'll find that, over on the right, they still somehow have a photo associated with them as a form photo. A photo that's seemingly a residual spliffdizzle submission that was affected by the bug.
Now, getting to R.O.B., earlier this morning I went into the mod page after approving spliffdizzle's stock photo delete and noticed the same thing - the part record was still displaying a form photo.
So, in the mod page, I saw that there was just a "blank" photo (just a white square) down in the "form info" photo picker - no other photos. When you click on the blank you're given two options - the "image missing" graphic and the "no photo needed" graphic. I chose the "image missing" graphic and submitted.
The residual photo disappeared and I can now upload a photo to R.O.B. with no issues. Try R.O.B. again, spliff.
So, the "fix" is to get rid of the blank that's hanging out in the form info area photo slot. Once you do that, everything is peachy.
As we received several photos for other parts (instruction booklets, Motormaster, weapons for Thundercracker) from spliff with no problems, these specific parts have something about them that's preventing them from having photos uploaded to them. Now, I'm not sure if the problem is because these are still wonky because of the bug residuals (which I'm betting on) or there is something else going on (which I'm doubting/hoping against)...I'm going to leave them as-is, in case you have to do any testing, but as far as R.O.B. goes, my "fix" (such a strong word) worked.
