At night.[/thumb:2yqdwe2k][/wrap:2yqdwe2k]Hello, once again, my plastic crack comrades!!

Today, I bring you Armorhide, from the Revenge of the Fallen line. Looks just like Rollbar, doesn't he? I mean with the stealth bomber/F-22 styling on a dune buggy, who else could it possibly be besides Armorhide, right?  "Who could it be now?"...sorry about that folks, I'm showing my age. But, just like Men at Work, this figure is just too cool.  But why is this figure so cool?  Well, for starters, I am currently the only one on here to own it.  And more importantly...look really close...squint if you have to.  It's cool BECAUSE IT'S A N.E.S.T. FIGURE, YOU DODO HEAD!!!!!!!  Ahem...sorry 'bout that.

That's right folks, the new wave of N.E.S.T deluxes are hitting stores now, at least here in central Illinois. Ravenfyre and I picked these up today at our local Toys "R" Us.  Besides being brand-spankin' new figures, why are these so special? Well, boys 'n girls, let me tell you a story. A long time ago, when dinosaurs ruled the Earth and Men at Work ruled the airwaves, Transformers packaging featured "Robot Points" - little areas that you could clip off the packages.  Small figures had 1/2 or 1 robot points, larger ones, even more.  But why would you want to mar your perfect MISB/MOSC G1 specimens?  Well, you could save these points from the packages, stick a few of 'em in the mail with a few bucks for shipping, and in a few weeks, if you were lucky, you would get an exclusive mail away figure that wasn't available in stores.

This year, with all of the movie hype, Hasbro has done a really awesome thing by resurrecting this "robot points" idea by including exclusive stickers in N.E.S.T. figure packages.  If you send in a certain number of stickers with the order form, which is only available in the Bumblebee vs Soundwave 2-Pack, you will receive a special Ravage mail away figure.  So, in essence, they have now forced us to buy more toys, in order to get even more toys. Awesome marketing, and I gotta tell you, I love it!! Just think, the exclusive Ravage mail away figure can be yours after you buy the N.E.S.T. Bee vs Soundwave Battle set, and any two other N.E.S.T. series figures, mail away away the completed order form with stickers attached, and patiently wait.  Sooner or later, you'll have a Decepti-kitty in mailbox waiting for you.

So, to all my fellow plastic crack fans, good luck!
LongHaul out.
