Hey,

I know this might a long shot, but does anyone have a MOSC ROTF Autobot Skids with unpainted teeth?  I passed on this version to get the one with the painted teeth and now I sorta regret not picking it up.

If anyone can help me out, please let me know.

OK, this is going to probably sound really dumb to the serious collectors on here...but how do you tell if he has unpainted or painted teeth in package? Wouldn't they be hidden in car-mode? But if it is possible to tell, I'll keep an eye out around here. The twins are pegwarming like crazy, so it's always possible I could find one.

It is possible to tell the difference.

You can peek inside the car (through the driver's side window is the best way) and see his head...if it's all green where his teeth would be (with no gold or white paint to be seen), that's the one I need.

Also, at one point the date stamp also seemed to dictate which version it is, but it may or may not be 100% accurate.  The date stamp is pressed onto the back of the package (towards the bottom):

91071 for painted-teeth
90961/71 for painted-teeth
90761 for unpainted-teeth

So if those numbers are accurate, you're looking for 90761.

Thanks for the help!

The first person to suggest that we should maintain separate package records for each of these stampings will be beaten to death with an Energon Omega Supreme.

Sorry, no luck - I looked through probably 20+ skids at various Fred Meyers, but they all had the painted teeth. :(
