As requested several hundred times by SOS:
- Added a "Subgroup" form field when editing figure records
- as part of this work, created a new 3-table denormalized refactor of the old 1-table "search_keywords" system
- converted the old search_keywords to use the new system
- created a new "Auto Complete" widget, which is in use by both the subgroup and search keyword form inputs

- replaced the big background image used on the site with a smaller, repeating one, with gradient overlay. Tested in Firefox, IE9, and Chrome. Everybody else is on their own

- added a moderator page for editing tags
