1000th accepted photo submission to shmax.com. That's a lot of photos. To put it in perspective for you, with each image in the neighborhood of a million pixels, that adds up to more than 1 billion, or over
600 pounds of pixels. Suffice it to say that we're definitely running out of room on the 'fridge for them.
I may as well take this opportunity to say a quick word about the subject of the photo. While the regal figure in the striking pose is a Transformer, the
cape itself technically is not. The astute among you may have noticed quite a few non-Transformers appearing on the site of late, but don't bother with the torches and pitchforks; these new records merely foreshadow a feature we've been promising for 5 years, namely, the expansion of shmax.com to other toylines. The new design will carefully segregate the different toylines from each other, such that if you're only interested in Transformers, that's all you need ever see. They're only all mixed-in together for now as a temporary measure.
