From what I've found, they're KOs of the old Kabaya Choco kits seen here:
http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Transformers_ChocoAs I understand it, all legit Choco packages either have "Kabaya" or "Takara" marked on them somewhere. According to someone I spoke with at BBTS, they could find no identifying manufacturer markings on these packages and couldn't guarantee that they were authentic Takara product.
There is a ton of KO Kabaya kits out there...finding a legit one is pretty tricky anymore. Sellers on eBay will call it a "Chinese variant" or "reissue" or something like that.

That's why the ones that are legit are super-expensive.
