more bug fixes:
- fix caching issue that was causing category names to not refresh after being updated
- fix a variety of date issues reported by SoS and Engledogg
- restore the behavior of toyline widgets such that they initialize to the category you were in when you clicked "Add it yourself!" (reported by SoS)
- fix issue with widgets where they were failing to throw validation errors for empty required fields (reported by Engledogg)
- fix (apparently) the multiple 1s issue (Engledogg knows what I mean)
