I am confused about what's listed here. So there is the exclusive Diaclone colored release (http://www.shmax.com/product_details/19367/cubrar), and then there's the retail release (http://www.shmax.com/product_details/18548/cubrar_tekour).

Both list an alternate head in the parts list, but the retail release does not have an alternate head in the box. What seems to be happening though is that it is random as to whether you'll get the black head version of the red head version, with no exterior markings denoting which you'll get unless you peek inside the window where you might be able to catch a glimpse of the head color in the dino mouth.

Did the Diaclone release actually have 2 heads with it? I only have the retail release, and I wanted to clear this up before I started adjusting parts in the listings.

I see that the heads have been removed from the regular listing (http://www.shmax.com/product_details/18548/cubrar_tekour). Now the issue is there are both black and red-headed versions. How do we go about getting the listing cloned for the red version? From what I know, the red version is the rarer of the two, so it should be the "variant" version, right?

Hey Spliff,
I didn't see this thread until today. I can answer all those questions, or try to at least. Initially the rumor was that the retail release of Cubrar / Tekour would have both the black and red heads. Once the figure was released we learned just how cruel FPJ is by releasing both versions without any hints on which version you are getting. As you already mentioned, so far the "ginger" Cubrar seems to be the rarer of the two versions. I recall seeing the "hidden version" phrase to describe it being coined somewhere on the net. I actually created a new listing for the red-headed version, which I listed as the "variant" of the black-headed Cubrar. As for the Diaclone release of Cubrar, yes he did come with two heads and an awesome magnetic Diaclone Driver.

Hope that helps.
