[RESOLVED] dynamic sig

the totals seem screwy.... like my alternators count i've got all of them except the smokescreen/red viper (i forgot his name?.?) two pack, but it says 13/30.

i suspect it has something to do with all of the multiples i've added...

BTW, you are doing great work on the site. i love this inventory system now. if i could just link it to my palm pilot and download all the values back and forth... that's not a request or anything... just wishful thinking...

Hi there Slugpitcher, thanks for the encouragement. There are still a few quirks with the sig. I'm in the middle of developing another new feature, but as soon as that's done I'll see if I can figure out what's wrong. As for the Palm Pilot I'm a bit lost--what do you mean by "back and forth"? Do you mean you want to be able to upload collection data from your Palm to the site? Can you explain in a little more detail how this sort of thing usually works?

how is the $$ total/amount of worth calculated? cause my dynamic sig says my collection is worth a mere 8$ which is kind of giving me a severe case of the ROFL'S.

It's a secret! All I can tell you is that I've been rewriting the system in between other projects over the last few months, and it's been off the whole time. I'm not sure why it's coming up with $8 for you, but I'll look into it. Now then, I'm prepared to offer you double that $8 right now for your collection! Whaddya say?

back and forth.... your site has all of my collection listed but my palm pilot is missing some of the mini-cons but all of my price paid are up to date. i'd like to be able to use one to update the other. either direction.

it uses a simple database, fields with varius option: ext, number, sequence, checkbox, date, time, list, dropdown box.

nothing i gotta have just something for the future when you get this workout to almost autopilot status.

not sure where I should put this. but the sigs freeze my browser. (Firefox in OS Ubuntu) I have to use the system monitor to shut down Firefox.

Does this only happen for you when you use Firefox? Are there any other browsers you can try in Ubuntu?
