You've got a point about the price--I'll see about disabling that one. Hopefully, though, you're otherwise doing some careful research, especially if you're entering packages.

It's good to see you raring to go, and I look forward to seeing what ya come up with!

The "Retail Price" field is no longer required, and items with no price data will display "unknown" as their price. Should make thing easier for all those 25-yr-old toys, but please do your best to research whenever you can. Thanks much!

$52!?!? where? my parents paid around $80 for him back then at a place called "warehouse of toys"

anyway, the prices of the first wave from '84 should be fairly easy. theres a jc penny catalog scan floating around the net somewhere. if all else fails, im sure someone on the allspark knows where it is

Thanks Teletran, that's very helpful. I'm elbows-deep in new features at the moment, but if you guys wanna try to start filling in some G1 data, I'd be your bestest buddy forever...

lightspeed is good. not as good as strafe or afterburner to me. and of course, no fort max lol but atleast you got one eventually.

prices: im not sure on exact numbers, but i know the first prime was around $25. i used to get $25 for christmas from my grandparents and i used it for him that year lol i think gestalt componets were $5 cause i remember i got all the technobots at once for around $20 (all save scattershot. he was more. probly $15). soundwave was about $20. i won $20 at bingo one night (first and only time ive won so far...), and the next day i went and used it for him.

and i dont think prices have really changed all that much from then to now actually. maybe a dollar or 2, but not much. oh well, im just rambling out loud
