Energon Ironhide, an Autobot from the
Energon line. Despite being a sturdy, decent-looking figure, the Ironhide toy has gotten a bit of a bad rap, with some even referring to him as
"Playskoolish", due to his chunky robot and alt modes. Come to think of it, I guess it also doesn't help that his robot head is visible in vehicle mode. Anyhow, this particular version of Ironhide sports a new paintjob, an homage to
Generation 1 Hound. Even if you don't like the Ironhide toy, perhaps the Energon cartoon can make up for this and you can love the charact-...whoops. Nope. Forget I said that... Regardless, love or hate him, I think we all can admit that Trzmiel made him look good, posing him here in an awesome "I'm a rookie, but I'm ready for anything" stance.
