The only thing they like better than robots in Japan is things that are cute. And the only thing they like better than things that are cute are things that are furry and cute. It's only a matter of time before they develop a cute, furry robot, but in the meantime we'll have to make do with  this adorable little rendition of Bumblebee that I picked up from a shop in Kyoto that specializes in this kind of thing. Yes, there are entire stores devoted to little robots. Most of them are designed to hang off of your keitei, or cell phone, but as near as I can tell all this one does is sit on your desk and send you into sugar shock. You can check out the pics I took of Bumblebee and the rest of his little pals on the Microbots pages, and if you're anything like me, after that you'll want to rinse out your mouth with broccoli.

I picked up a few of these from Captured Prey recently and I love 'em.  They are some of the best PVC TFs ever.  Megatron is the best of the bunch IMO, Blackarachnia & Prime are pretty nifty as well.

Yeah, they're real neat. Bitch to transform, though. By the way, if any of you have these guys still sealed in their capsules, we could use photos. The set I bought had been "repackaged" by the store's staff, and they tossed the capsules. Jerks.

Sure.  May take me a few days.  What type of pictures do you want?  Pics of the figures in the capsules?

Yep, in the capsules, and looking as close as possible to the way they were when originally distributed. Were they in a baggie inside the capsule?

Yup, sealed in baggies.  I may have some time this weekend, I'll let you know once I have them ready.

Do you have the baggies? If not, I can send you one. But more importantly, do you have a decent camera and a light tent? *looks hopeful*
