The only thing they like better than robots in Japan is things that are cute. And the only thing they like better than things that are cute are things that are furry and cute. It's only a matter of time before they develop a cute, furry robot, but in the meantime we'll have to make do with this adorable little rendition of
Bumblebee that I picked up from a shop in Kyoto that specializes in this kind of thing. Yes, there are entire stores devoted to little robots. Most of them are designed to hang off of your
keitei, or cell phone, but as near as I can tell all this one does is sit on your desk and send you into sugar shock. You can check out the pics I took of Bumblebee and the rest of his little pals on the
