*groan* My fingers hurt. YOU guys add 'em, for a change! Maybe I'll get lucky, and instead of a toyline, they'll decide to just do a series of Burger King glasses. Mmm, yes, I can see it now...

They've been added, by the way. I really dig some of them, even though I've never seen the show. Come to think of it, I really haven't seen any of the shows since the first one back in the 80's. Hey, what are you guys doing with those torches and pitchforks? Get back! Get back, I say!!!

So, the question begs, why haven't you watched any of it since the 80's?

I don't know, maybe I need to look into it again. To me the show was just a commercial to get you to buy the toys, which I bought anyway. I was also turned off by the stock animation sequences, the over-acting, and the predictability. But who knows? Maybe they're better now.

I dunno, I rather liked Beast Wars, and Animated seems to be the best series yet. If it's not your thing, that's cool, but it's easy enough to check it out, what with the Youtube and all.

yeah I thought animated was awesome. Was a bit turned off by the art style at first, but the writing and characterization really won me over.

Then there's the toys which are awesome.

For me I'd have to say: G1, Beast Wars, Movie'verse and Animated are definitely my favorites.

Shmax... forget Animated (Animated fans take note, I say this for a reason) - you need to feast your eyes on Beast Wars. It's a fantastic slice of sci-fi in its own right, once you get past the initial episodes setting up the characters.

I promise you when the main story kicks in it'll make you go all goosebumpy.

Watch Animated after Beasties and you'll get far more out of the show. :)

Beast Wars,eh? Two questions:

1. Is it available on DVD?
2. Is Spongebob in it?

Hey there,

The last animated series I watched was Cybertron, although I've not really watched many of the cartoons (watched Seasons 1,3,4 & movie of G1, Some of the Takara collection, few Beast Wars and seasons 1-2 of Beast Machines) and none of Animated at all...it is really worth watching?

Loving the models from it though, have Voyager Skywarp and Safeguard set!
