working on Alternators

Wasn't sure how to handle Canada--I didn't know whether to put the items in Assortment 1 or 2. I made the assumption that anything released between 2003 and late 2005 is Assortment 1, and anything after Assortment 2. If I'm wrong, please update the records. But then we have Smokescreen. He has his own record under the old Canada > Alternators toyline:

but we already had a Smokescreen under the old United States > Alternators > Assortment 1, tagged with both Canada and United States. What up with that?
Error record, I suppose. All the early Alternators (most of the first wave, up to Swerve, I think) were multi-lingual packaging, so, yeah, that one should be nuked.
Nine people own it, though.
my confusion deepens; I found a Meister under the old Canada > Alternators branch tagged with a Japan release country.

Country error...any time you see Japan or Guatemala or Uzbekistan for a Canadian or U.S. or whatever record, it's simply an error.
