Would it be possible to lock the profile preferences to a default we choose instead of the "Country Sort" it starts at as well as details instead of basic?

It should remember whatever sort/view you last chose, and automatically load that when you come back. Is it not working for you? Do you by any chance have cookies disabled?

Cookies are enabled.  It only seems to remember your settings while your session is active/current.  If you are on your profile page, and go to the forums, then back to the profile page, it remembers the settings.  However, if you close the browser and reopen shmax.com, the profile page is reset to the country sort and brief view.

Yes, that agrees with what I'm seeing in the code. I've updated the cookies to expire after one year, and not when the session ends. Better?
