I think the car types need an overhaul. There are so many sub-sub-sub levels it's hard to find specifics.

That's a fair point. I've been doing some work on indexing of categorical trees for search; maybe I'll see about adding search functionality to the tree picker widgets after I finish with the photo annotation app.
