I have to admit, this site yhas become my new crack on the net, ty!

Some of the figures I was thinking about adding to the database, fogured I run them by you guys:

Beastformers Super Deforemed/Gumball beasts/Vehicles etc.

There was a Japanese BW puzzle released with the small lio convoy figure in black.

What about the off the wall Japanese BW model kits? I thnik G1 even had a few, not sure.

Stranger yet, what about the 2 G1 puzzles that could be turned into a 3-d character?

Sure...just make sure they're the ones that were still associated with the Headmasters cartoon (pre-Laser Beasts and all that).

We've got him already.

Check the Japanese Beast Wars section first...we might already have them up.  I put up a bunch of Kabaya BW stuff up some time back.

As far as the G1 kits go, have at 'em...just make sure you're entering legit Kabaya kits...not the KOs that show up on eBay all the time.  :)

For now, I'd say no to the puzzle guys...I've got three of them myself (Bluestreak, Ultra Magnus, and Starscream), but I'm thinking they don't quite fit in yet...same with the Battle Card things that were released with the 2007 Movie.

OK, so I'm doing research on the SD Beastformers and Gumball beasts (thanks to the guys at littlerubberguys.com and a few of their sites). Seems there were 20 SD's made overall each in one of three diff colors and from what i understand each could have had one of three diff emblems (fire/wood/water), that means a possible total of 180 SDs! As for the Gumballs I'm still looking, if memory serves it's not known how many were in the full set, might be one for each beast!

I'm only going to start on the SD entries and was wondering would you want 180(one for each poss. combo) entries or 60 (one of each green/red/blue)?

I guess 180, if you're positive that the SD figures carried over the wood/fire/water bit...that's how we did the normal Beastformers - each one had three variants.

OK, I started putting in the quick entries for the guys, remeber their numbers were not the same as the beastformers and yes there are 180 diff beasts in the SD set! Got through #5 so far, it helps that I can hit the back button when I'm done and just change a word or two in the last entry to create a new on, makes this go a lot faster than I thought.

Hey,

I just approved all your stuff so far...just to let you know, I created a new Super Deformed subcategory with the Beastformers category, so put any new ones you come up with in there.  :)

Also, there was a typo in your write-up.

Quote
Each Super Deformed Beastformer came in one of three colors and each had one of three symbols making for a total of 180 total! Each figure came with a random weapon for another figure.
I changed it to the following:

Each Super Deformed Beastformer came in one of three colors and each had one of three symbols making for a total of 180! Each figure came with a random weapon for another figure.

Great job!  I have an easy way to fill up those packages, so don't sweat adding any figures to the packages you created...I'll handle that for ya.

You mean the typos?

I was talking about adding figures to the packages.  You don't have to worry about doing that.

And, yep, I fixed up the typos in the ones you already submitted...just make the change in the new ones you list (get rid of the extra 'total').

You don't need to put (SD) or (Super Deformed) in the title descriptions since the subcategory of Super Deformed will now handle that.  Also, 'green' or 'water', stuff like that, don't need to be capitalized.

Thanks!

OK, that should be all 180 SD Beastformers done! Sorry for the typos here and there. I'm now trying to get what data I can on the gumball beastformers. I'm also doing research and compiling lists of model kits.

Awesome! I have no idea what the heck a beastformer is--for all I know you made the whole thing up--so we'll have to wait for Engledogg to come along and bless them all, but I just wanted to thank you for showing a little enthusiasm and joining us in our lonely little corner of the web. Now if you REALLY want to help, you'll put those model kits on hold and go scare up a nice digital camera. Just to pull a number out of nowhere, I'd say there are at least 2177 part and figure photos alone that you could contribute! (check your "How I can help" link)

Right now I dont have access to my camera or my collection to help with pics (you have pics of most the items I have). I'll talk to a few people and I might get permission to borrow some of the beastformer pics. When I do get to my collection and get some time I'll contribute what pictures I can :)

Hey, I'm at home for a day with my collection and took some test shots of loose figures, but not really liking what I have available for "white" backgrounds here. So it might be a while before I get pics to you guys, sorry :( I'll keep helping on lists when i can :)

Oh, you photo-tease! Why not give us a look at one of your test shots? Engledogg and I are master-level nitpickers--maybe we can suggest something. Also be sure to have a look at the tutorial on the photo guidelines page--it's only one user's interpretation of the best way to take a photo, but it may give you some ideas. Engledogg has also since become quite skilled, and will no doubt have more to add.
