Transformers, as most people think of them, are toys meant to represent characters that 1) are giant, 2) can transform, and 3) are robots. Oh sure, there are endless variations. Some are
small, rather than huge. A few
don't transform. And there are even a few that do transform but
aren't robots. Yet it's a rare surprise when a toy appears that is only regular-sized, doesn't transform, and isn't a robot. I believe the technical term for such an item is "doll", but for those of you with insecurity issues, we can call them "non-morphing under-oversized bioid action figures". The subject of today's photo, submitted by the ever-skillful Hellscream333, is a prime example,
Sam Witwicky, as included in the
Revenge of the Fallen Human Alliance Bumblebee & Sam Witwicky set. And just how rare
are humans, you ask? Well, by our count, there are
37 human figures in all Transformerdom, and 5995 total figures. That's only 0.6%, which makes this somewhat droopy-looking rendition of Sam Witwicky quite precious. So keep him secret guys, keep him safe--but don't worry, if you lose him, you can always replace him with your sister's Ken doll.
