[/wrap:j2v3by0q]Ah yes, another month begins and so it is only fitting to have another wave of
ROTF figures land in our hungry hands. We're privy this time around to a good mixture of repaints and new molds, so there's something out there for everyone. Coming to you from the repaints department is today's entry,
Swerve. While this may be what Hasbro chose to name him, I am officially calling him by his G1 namesake,
Sideswipe. As soon as I transformed him into robot mode, the child in me immediately swooned from the combination of newness and nostalgia. The new head mold provided with this repaint is very nice, well sculpted and intricately painted. Also of note is the fact that, at least on my copy of this toy, the loose tailpipes and not-so-great-at-holding-together chest that were a nuisance on the
original version of this mold, have been remedied. This is good news for all you nitpickers out there and so I say: Happy hunting, fiends!
