...I'm a man of wealth and taste...HAH! I wish!

Well, I have been here for a few weeks, but I thought it was rude not to introduce myself, so here goes..

My name is Saire (although I'm usually called Yam because of the user name I use everywhere, if there is a Yamerias somewhere, it's more than likely me!) and I reside in Tadley, Hampshire, UK.

I have been collecting TransFormers for just over a month now, and I've got hold of about 20 models/sets comprising mostly of Legends (I really like the smaller models!) although I have a couple of combiners (Legends Devistator and Superion) and also have the Captain America Crossover and a few Legend class models too.

I loved TransFormers as a kid and got Starscream G1 for Christmas one year (this was my first model!) and I was hooked...I love the aspect of it being a "puzzle" and after that the family got me various TransFormers/Rock Lords/Go-Bots/Robo Machines etc (man, I wish I kept them!).

Fast forward to last month, I was watching ROTF (I bought it on DVD in the Transforming case) and I was thinking "man, I think I want to start collecting them again!" and the following weekend in my local ASDA store I saw the Voyager Class Ramjet, bought it for £12.99 and the it all started from there...

Well, enough of me flapping my gums, I just thought I'd say hi...and hopefully speak to you all on the boards!

Welcome aboard! I apologize for the deafening roar of crickets in the forums, but somehow even though we now have more than 1000 members, people haven't gotten in the habit of using the forums. But anyway, it's great to have you, and I really appreciate all the excellent feedback and part-sleuthing you've done. Lookin' foward to your next set of photos--we'll get you hooked on shutterbuggin' yet!

You weren't kidding about the shutterbugging....my light tent is on it's way, then it's time for some major snappage!

Awesome, can't wait. In the meantime, why not start adding records to the database for some of those UK toys you're picking up?

I'd just about trade my soul for some photos of Canadian toys in the package! I'll send you a PM with my chat handle, and we can see about getting you a little photo coaching, if you're interested...
