Folks, http://www.shmax.com is pleased to announce that we've taken photo-mooching to the next level. Yes, it's a photo submission contest, there are some pretty nice Japanese Transformer toys to be won, you're all invited, and it begins now. You can read the details here:

http://www.shmax.com/Photo_Contest

I won't ramble on too long here, but if you like you can post questions, comments, or whatever you want in this thread and I'll do my best to keep up. Have fun, play nice, and let the games begin!

Folks, there's a bug in the code that generates the top photo submitters list on the contest page. It's supposed to be showing the total photos submitted by folks, but it's only showing the top *package photo* submitters. My advice is to ignore it until I get a chance to sort it out, hopefully by tomorrow. Sorry about that!

The following contest-related bugs have been fixed:
- top submitters list on contest page showing only package submissions
- "figures" tab when viewing a user's photo submissions brokwn
- trying to add a photo to an existing record broken

Sorry about those! Please, post any others you come across here...

Hey guys, I just found and fixed a bug that was preventing me from seeing ALL the submitted records and photos. I'd been looking for it for a while, and now that I've tracked it down the contest totals are up to date. Looks like Engledogg has a firm hold on first place, but second place could still go either way. Tomorrow I'm going to go out and upgrade 1st prize again as promised, so keep slugging away guys!

Hey guys, I went over to the local hobby shop today and managed to rummage up another prize for the contest:

http://www.shmax.com/Package_Details/13 ... per_Convoy

I know, I know, this isn't really an upgrade of first prize, but this was the best I could find and surely it upgrades something! It's another Toys R Us exclusive--does that do anything for ya? Anyway, I hope this makes up for all the photo fussiness I've put you guys through. There are currently only 4 contestants, so as it stands everybody will get something. And I'm not necessarily done adding prizes, either--if this contest gets its second wind and we hit, say, the 1000 photo mark, I'm perfectly willing to do it again. So please, keep 'em coming!

Hey guys, I modified the link that shows which figures still need photos such that non-converting figures aren't checked for an alt photo. That brings the total number of figures needing photos down quite a bit, but there's still a ways to go. Do any of these look familiar?
