I was wondering, since there is a field for the purchase price, there could be a percentage return on investment calculation somewhere in the collection database?

Who's been the best ROI in my collection, etc?  Default denominator could be MSRP.

Yep, this is something we've talked about before.  I'm all for it.

I'm pretty sure that it would have to start out at a collection level, though.  Something like "you paid x for your collection and it is worth y", but I'd love to see it get filtered down to individual lines or even products.

I'd love to see who the best bargain shoppers are.

Absolutely, we'll get to that stuff one of these days. That notion was actually sort of the genesis of the whole website. I've made a few false starts towards doing some statistical analysis, but I always wind up getting distracted by some other interesting project. So hang in there, it'll happen!
