[RESOLVED]Products own with contradicting release dates...

For some reason, the release date never got updated or deleted and when I go to the page, and expand the purple bar, the date is gone (even though it says the date on the purple bar). It then tries saving, but never completes the save.

I don't understand--what do you mean the release date never got updated? Did you submit a change? If so, it could be that it just hasn't been reviewed yet.

what I mean is that the release date is set to 'upcoming', yet I was able to add the item to my collection a while ago. I probably added it before you implemented the code that ensures the date bought is only after the release date. However, in this situation, where the date is 'upcoming' and the item is already in my collection, it is not showing the date in the expanded purple ribbon and it is trying to save it without a date...

Why not submit the actual release date?  That'll probably clear it up as the system will have a legit release date to work with.

What he said. Submit a release date, wait for it to get reviewed, then try re-setting the "date bought". Not much else I can do at this point...

2 Reasons -
1) I have no idea what the release date was
2) You probably don't want this bug to occur to other people with other products in this same situation where it is trying to auto-save without the date...

It might be a few days before I get to this. I'm currently working on a nastier bug, which is that the eBay machine has been broken for at least a year.
