I'm tempted to buy Some of the activators but every time I see them in person I turn away. They simply sacrifice too much altmode detail for the one step transformation gimmick. I would've ended up with Prime and Megatron but since seeing Megatron in altmode.... I've changed my mind.

I picked up Starscream myself. This was after putting off forever due to my absolute hate for flip changers.... I have to say though, I really do like him and he's super fun to play with.

It took multiple posting, youtube vids, and podcasts praising this line before i finally picked it up and I am glad I did.  I currently have Animated Grimlock and Megatron.  They are both really excellent toys.  Big thumbs up Hasbro.

The Activators are great, I've been singing their praises for awhile now. Starscream is just perfect, and Thundercracker looks really nice too. Bumblebee is great too, though his hands kind stink a bit. I wasn't as impressed with Prime or Grimlock, but from what I've seen of Ratchet he looks really good, gonna have to get him next.

Ironically Starscream is alot more accurate to the show then the Voyager model. Go figure.

Only drawback to these guys are the price. It's hard to pay almost $10. for such a small figure. But Starscream and Thundercracker are definitely worth it.

I've since picked up Prime and Ratchet (thank you Target exclusives) and while Ratchet is nice Prime just stinks to high heaven.    His gimmick was poorly implemented/doesn't work right AT ALL without manual manipulation and his altmode is totally fuxxored because of all the extra pieces.
