Transformers. Transforming robots, day after day--sure, you guys can go outside and play whenever you want, but for me there's no escape. So for a change of pace, Hellscream333 has provided a picture of Griffion DX Web Knight. See, it's a jet that transforms into this really great birdbot, and--what, what are you looking at me like that, for? Okay, so it's a transformer, but it's not a Transformer, if ya follow me. What did you expect, a picture of my old Stretch Armstrong [s:1j2hs3jm]doll[/s:1j2hs3jm] action figure? But yes, there are other toy lines out there in the world with transforming robots. This one comes from Takara's own Web Diver line, which makes it a close cousin. And you want to talk gimmicks? Forget about spring-loaded fists and Cyber Keys, this guy can be connected to his larger teammate, Gradion, who is himself a playable 16-bit video game. When Gradion senses via infra-red that Griffion is attached, Griffion appears in-game as a power-up. Is the game any good, you ask? It doesn't matter. It's weird and different, and that's enough.
