Ghost Starscream, Adam West, and fudge-covered Oreo cookies all have in common? That's right, they're all
awesome. Frequent contributor Hellscream333 once again saves us the trouble of opening our rare toys by opening them for us and snapping away. Don't you wish you could be as fearless? Personally, I can't even bring myself to open the wet nap packets from the barbecue restaurant near my house. Hellscream's photo is sharp and clear enough to reveal that Starscream is made from 3 or 4 different colors of translucent plastic. He looks cool, and it's clear from the expression on his face that he knows it. The only trouble with a toy like Ghost Starscream is that you have to arm-sweep the rest of the crap off the top of your dresser into the trash bin, because they simply aren't worthy to bask in his radiance, unless of course the rest of your toys are also made from translucent plastic. Lite-Brite doesn't count. I'll remind you folks that your 'ol uncle Shmax will be giving away
two of these suckers in the next photo contest, which will begin February 1st. For those of you new to the sport, I recommend brushing up on our
photo guidelines page and getting some practice in
now. Believe it or not, in my experience it often takes a photo newbie several weeks--and not the 40 minutes he has in mind--to get up to speed. Better to do it now than when points count.
