Well, I can't divulge too many of my secrets here, but I can tell you that the data I have is sound--I just looked it over, and this guy did indeed sell for upwards of $45 on a few occasions in June and July of last year. It was billed as being "rare in hand", so presumably this was a case of an uber-collector jumping at what he believed to be an early chance to lay ahold of a shiny toy before any of his pals could. Combine that oddity with the fact that we just don't have many data points to average it with (this guy just isn't moving on eBay--I did a completed auctions search, and came up with only 7 listings still in the system), and you get what looks like a pretty outlandish MOSC average.
