Yes, exactly! The same way that I've got 3 different face variants for my G1 Brawn, three different Onslaught variants, or my diecast Predaking vs. plastic Predaking, it'd be helpful to have tickboxes there. But for toys like Super Fire Convoy, who came in two styles of boxes: robot mode or vehicle mode, there shouldn't be two listings, just make a tick box for which version of box it came in. Or for stuff like the Beast Wars Neo line; I got half of them in Korean Boxes, but they're the exact same toys. Merge the listings and just put a place to choose which packaging the toy came in. It'll weed out a lot of unnecessary repetitiveness. It's kinda the reason I haven't been adding much lately, as most of my collection was bought in Canada, but it's the same products in multilingual packaging. I don't have the time or energy to add listings for the whole line. Especially since it's all already listed in the U.S. category. If you could add the selection of alternate packaging for the exact same toy, it'd be really helpful.

May I make a suggestion to simplify additions; Create a listing for the actual toys, then jave the availability to select which version of packaging it came in? Ie.; If it's the exact same toy, no change at all, have a tick list for each version of packaging it came in. Kinda like the way you can select what currency you paid for the item.

Okay...got most of the list done.  I'll get to the rest later today.

Thank you. Sorry for the long list.

Also, that ROTF Rally Mudflap and Offroad Skids set...you sure that was released in Canada?  As far as I know, that only showed up in Australia, Hong Kong, etc.

None of the boxes I've got say "Ultimate Gift Set" anywhere on them, so I don't think it's them, especially since there are no details listed as to what the set contains.
I was referring to these

Sorry, gave you the wrong link...

Actually, the Canadian version would have the same contents - which I just copied over on to the earlier link above.

If you were to make a "Multipacks" section in DOTM's Cyberverse & Mechtech categories, like the Generations one, that'd cover them all.

Generations (and everything underneath it) is already present.  You'll find it here:

Cool, thanx. Just realized this one's only in English, so I'm skipping a new entry, and just went with the U.S. version.

I'm pretty sure, as I bought it in a Walmart in Toronto.

I'll add those later on today...in the mean time, just curious, when you enter a UPC, do you add spaces?

If so, it'll make a lot faster if you don't.  The system will put the appropriate dashes in, so you don't need to worry about adding spaces.  Saves me some time removing them, as well.  :)

If you're aren't manually adding the spaces, then we've got a bug.

MIKE

Yes, every one I entered was with spaces, as the input section says "Hyphens and spaces are optional", but I can skip them if it's causing problems or extra work.

And, I agree, these should not be categorized in the TF:Prime section, as they're definitely not TF:Prime figures, but rather more like a Universe selection.

Yeah, they were created as a default in the Prime category well before we had any deep knowledge of them.  They will be getting their own category shortly.

Thanx Dude, I noticed the move. S'too bad they weren't actually labelled as Universe, cuz that category sorta suits 'em.

Feature Requests/Announcements / Adding Categories
March 19, 2012, 03:49:23 AM

Hey there, Max said to post this in the forums, so;
     Is there any way you can implement an "Add Category" feature soon? I've been trying to add a ton of stuff, but as it's all Canadian stock in multilingual packaging, most of it doesn't have categories yet. It's taking forever to add anything, as I can usually not find it listed. It'll save both you & I a lot of time if the new categories can be added when adding new figures.

In the mean time, here's a few categories I need added to the Canadian section, if you would be so kind;
-DOTM Zellers Exclusives for Voyagers (Starscream & Ratchet) & Deluxe [I've added a bunch of new items, but they're not categorized by class yet.]
-DOTM TRU Exclusive "The Scan Series" Deluxes.
-DOTM Speed Stars; Stealth Force Basic, Deluxe, Mega, & Ultra Classes
-DOTM Speed Stars; Trans Scan Series, Beast Machines Series, Night Attack  Series, & Stealth Force Series.
-DOTM Robo Power; Bash Bots, Activators, Robo Fighters, Go-Bots, & Revving Robots.
-DOTM Store Exclusive Multipacks of Deluxe& Voyager Class figs.
-DOTM Cyberverse; Multipacks
-Generations; Deluxe Class, & 3-Pack TRU Store Exclusive [War for Cybertron Figs.]
-Kre-O; Basic, Deluxe, & Leader Class Sets.

There'll be a lot more, but let's start with these for now.
Thanx again,
Mike [a.k.a. Fiend6669]

I've just bought the first wave of 5 single packs, and although I'll never play with them as they were intended [ie.; "Rock, Scissors, Paper, Lizard, Spock" style Battle Game], I kind of like 'em.
And, I agree, these should not be categorized in the TF:Prime section, as they're definitely not TF:Prime figures, but rather more like a Universe selection.
